The commercial world is contrived to make people spend instead of save. With a simple tap of your card or phone, anyone can quickly lose track of how much they spend. With the world spearheading towards being a cashless society, the lack of tangibility from physical notes can make it also easier to dissociate spending. We want to make saving as effortless as spending in the age of cashless payment.

Change aims to do just that without users having to adjust their current habits. As users spend, Change will round up the amount and stash it away. It's like the nostalgia of using a coin jar or piggy bank without all the hassle. Change gathers the spare change and only reviews it at the end of each month, emulating the anticipation of breaking open the piggy bank from a simpler time. Change also organises and categorises one's spending, giving users an overview of their expenses to make better spending decisions for the future.

By showering Change with a tad of fun, we tune and position the product with the understanding of the younger crowd. With that, we aim to make saving less intimidating and more approachable.
